From the Superintendent!

Dear Students & Parents,

We will be transitioning to Phase 4A of our reopening plan on May 3.  We have loved having students on campus for the last month and are looking forward to offering more opportunities to interact with our students and end the year on a positive note.

For Phase 4A, the A and B cohorts will merge and students will attend all of their classes, five days a week.  This is also an opportunity for students who were remote only during Phase 3, to join for the remainder of the year.  Class periods remain 75 minutes long with 15 minute passing periods.  The schedule of periods for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays will remain the same as Phase 3B.  The schedule for Wednesdays in May will alternate between odd and even periods.  The schedule on Wednesday will vary slightly from the other four days of the week.

The purpose of this communication is to provide families with the detailed Phase 4A Reopening Plan for Full Hybrid and to ask parents to complete the binding 4A Commitment Survey. We would like you to please review the details of Phase 4A plan as a family and to make a decision regarding your student’s participation in the full 5 day hybrid (4A) beginning May 3rd. Students who choose not to participate in 4A beginning on May 3rd may stay fully remote, participating in their remote/simulcast classes.  Please see the Phase 4A Plan for more information.

To assist you with making your Phase 4A commitment decision, we are providing you with the following important links:

Superintendent 4A Video Message

Dear Students & Families,

We are so excited to welcome students back to our campuses for our transition to in-person learning beginning on Wednesday, March 24th with Phase 3A! The Phase 3A reopening provides a safe and smooth transition for our staff and students into our full hybrid 3B plan that will begin on Monday, April 12th. These dates for beginning Phase 3A and 3B are now set and will not change based upon our county’s Tier Assignment. For more information about our transition from 3A into Phase 3B, please see the slide deck presented at last night’s Board meeting.

We look forward to seeing our students back on campus two weeks from today as we continue our transition back to a full reopening of our schools.

Mike Grove
